Art Enthusiasts (General Users) FAQs

How do I discover exhibitions or artists I like on Eazel? + -

You can discover recently on-going or former exhibitions of art institutions that are partnering with Eazel. Of course, you can access information of artists who are part of those exhibitions archived on Eazel’s platform. We are working our best to introduce diverse array of immersive contents for you. Stay tuned with us!

Is Eazel a free service? + -

For general users, Eazel is a free service. You can experience immersive exhibition contents, magazine, VR exhibition contents, and others on Eazel for free. We also have a plan to introduce premium service models in the future to provide our fans with the most immersive art contents. We will give you a heads up once we have fully developed that plan.

How do I get my exhibitions on the Eazel platform? + -

If you are an artist and find Eazel as an attractive source for sharing, promoting, and archiving your on-going exhibitions with art enthusiasts around the world, contact your exhibition venue (gallery, institution, or independent art space) if it is partnering with Eazel. If yes, we will VR film your exhibition according to the institution’s plan with us. If not, reach out to us for further request and information: hello@eazel.net

Can people download the VR contents or images of artworks from Eazel platform? + -

Unfortunately, Eazel does not allow any user to download any VR exhibition content or image of artwork from our platform. We understand that you would like to share the awesome experience with your friends and families, but Eazel is strictly prohibiting it to protect copyrights of those contents for our partners and artists. To share exciting contents on Eazel, please invite your friends to sign up for our platform! Let’s spread some words of excitement!

How do I join Eazel? + -

Joining Eazel is very simple. Click on a ‘Sign Up’ button on Eazel’s main page and proceed according to our instruction. You can join with your Facebook, Twitter, or email account. Pretty simple, right?

Can I purchase art on the Eazel platform? + -

Currently on Eazel, we have three different types of institutions; gallery, museum, and independent art space. Among them, gallery is a for-profit organization that sells artworks to collectors. We currently do not connect galleries with collectors on our platform, but we are planning on this functionality in near future.

How can I save exhibitions or artists for the next visit? + -

You can always ‘like’ and ‘follow’ your favorite exhibitions, artists, and institutions within our service to easily find them again. Collect your favorite exhibitions and artists to make the best exhibition collection in the world. Yeah!

Can I get more information about exhibitions, artists, or institutions I am interested in? + -

If you ‘like’ or ‘follow’ exhibitions, artists, or institutions you are interested in, we will keep update you with newly updated contents based on your interest. We will do our best to give you the best contents possible.

How can I change my personal profile / information / settings? + -

You can change your personal profile / information / settings on your personal account tab on Eazel.

Are there any device that cannot run Eazel’s web / mobile / app VR? + -

Eazel recommends our users to use devices that have decent graphic card processors. Eazel’s VR experience contents contain 3D graphic components. It runs on most of devices manufactured after 2014, but it might not work on certain devices. Also, we recommend our users to update mobile / web browsers to the most up-to-date ones for the best experience at Eazel. Of course! We know it is a bit hesitant to start partnering with a new service, so we have made a free three-month trial plan. Please contact us for further details: hello@eazel.net

How long does a VR filming take for an exhibition space? + -

It usually depends on the size of an exhibition venue and types of displayed artworks. We carefully scan and film your exhibition to produce in best condition. However, it usually takes 3 hours for a venue that is sized at 3,600 sqft.

We want to share our currently on-going / archived VR exhibitions on Eazel with our collectors and fans. Does Eazel provide us with any starter-kit (Cardboard VR Headset) for VR? + -

Yes, Eazel provides you with a starter-kit that includes a brief introduction to Eazel service, your gallery information, and a Cardboard VR headset carefully manufactured by our team. Reach out to us for more detail information: amy@eazel.net

Can we showcase our VR exhibitions in art fairs using VR headsets or tablet PC? + -

Certainly. Eazel’s VR app works best at a circumstance where you want to deliver immersive exhibition experience to your fans and collectors, who cannot physically visit your exhibition due to geographical and time limit. Prepare VR headsets or a tablet PCs and set up a small booth to attract more audience to your gallery in art fair. It is the best way to persuade your collectors.

Does Eazel provide us with any data analytics? + -

Eazel provides partner institutions with a monthly data analytics report. It includes analytics data we collected from VR, web, and mobile platform.

Does Eazel clear copyrights for artworks to create a VR experience content? + -

Eazel helps institution clear the copyrights for artworks to be featured on Eazel’s VR exhibition, but we do not solely clear them on behalf of you.

Can artworks be sold on Eazel platform? + -

VR-related User FAQs

How can I access the VR platform? Is it available on the website? + -

Our VR app will be introduced later this year as an open-beta service. Once it’s available to you, we will include a download link on our web for your convenience. You will be able to download it for both iOS and Android.

What VR devices does Eazel work with? Can I access this service without the VR headsets? + -

Eazel’s open-beta VR app will be available with a cardboard VR and general VR headset viewers. We will support Facebook’s Oculus and Google’s Daydream VR platform soon. Even though experiencing Eazel’s immersive VR exhibition contents with a VR headset is highly recommended, you can still experience it in web and mobile VR with your PC, tablet, and smartphone.

Is Eazel’s VR app a separate platform from Eazel’s web platform? + -

Eazel VR app and Eazel web platform work together. They are not separate platforms. We recommend you using both platforms for the best VR exhibition experience at Eazel.

I have a technical problem using Eazel app. What should I do? + -

What kind of contents can I expect to enjoy on the VR exhibition? + -

You can freely walk around the exhibition space and appreciate the show in multiple angles. You can also enjoy audio tour and video contents, meticulously curated our curators.
